Overview/Timeline
- Week 1 – 2U conducts an official onboarding schedule that you will follow for your first 2 days at 2U. The rest of the week will consist of learning the main “housekeeping” tools the team uses and “Coffee Chats” with members of our Web team.
- Week 2 – Training – Consists of informational sessions that will teach you about the tools we use. We will focus specifically on WordPress and breakdown each block that we use.
- Week 3 – Shadowing – Consists of sessions with Web Producers to take content from a live site and practice building it on a test environment.
- Week 4 – Sample Tickets – Consists of tickets that will be requesting edits/changes/creation of pages on the test environment. This will show you how we work within Jira tickets and prepare you for taking on tickets of your own.
- Week 5+ – Post-Onboarding Training – Consists of learning about other tools that our team uses and how they work together to produce content on sites we manage across lines of business (Degree, edX, Boot Camp, Executive Education)
